ClaimParrot is not a law firm
ClaimParrot does not provide legal advice, form attorney-client relationships, represent users, negotiate with insurers on a user's behalf, or appear before courts, regulators, or review boards.
Appeal letters, checklists, crosswalks, briefs and other outputs are informational drafts. Users are responsible for reviewing them and deciding whether to use them.
Not medical or clinical advice
ClaimParrot does not provide medical advice, make medical-necessity or level-of-care determinations, assign codes, or replace clinical judgment. Every clinical statement in a packet must be checked against the medical record by a qualified clinician before it is signed and submitted.
ClaimParrot does not reproduce proprietary criteria such as ASAM, LOCUS, CALOCUS, InterQual or MCG. Organizations must use properly licensed source material.
No outcome guarantee
Insurance decisions depend on plan language, facts, documentation, state and federal rules, payer procedures, deadlines, and reviewer judgment.
ClaimParrot cannot guarantee approval, appeal success, payment amount, timing, external review results, or litigation outcomes.
AI limitations
Packets are drafted with AI and checked by a person before release. AI can still misread a summary, miss a requirement, overstate an argument, cite something incorrectly, or produce language that does not fit a specific plan, payer or jurisdiction.
Always compare every packet against the denial notice, the medical record, the plan documents and the payer's instructions before submitting.
When to get qualified help
Consider an attorney, a certified coder, a medical billing advocate or another qualified professional for high-value or disputed claims, suspected bad faith, litigation, fraud allegations, or complex coverage questions.
For urgent clinical situations, safety issues, or active legal deadlines, contact qualified professionals directly and do not wait for software output.
Regulatory and state differences
Appeal rights, deadlines, external review processes and parity rules vary by plan type, state and payer.
ClaimParrot may display deadline estimates or regulator links, but users must verify deadlines and filing requirements with the payer, the plan, the regulator, or a qualified professional.
Submitting appeals
ClaimParrot does not submit appeals or contact payers. Your organization submits the appeal, with the patient's identifiers and your clinician's signature.
Keep copies, delivery confirmations, fax receipts and payer acknowledgments in your own records.
Website content
Guides, templates and research on this site are general information, written with AI assistance and checked against the dated sources they cite (see our editorial policy). Comparison pages describe other products as their own websites did on the date shown, and say so where a site is silent. Trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify their products.
